Appearance:  A tall and slender looking man who appears to be around 60 years of age. His skin is an ashen gray, and he has pure white hair which is short and is styled into a comb over. His eyes are amber yellow irises with jet black sclera and pupils. The overall shape of his face is very thin and long, with high cheek bones ending in a firm pout to his face. His teeth are all slightly pointed as well as his black tongue. On his body, going up his neck on both sides and ending at about chin level are black tendril like tattoo/markings; in addition, they go down his arms and legs.

Clothing: He wears a very traditional suit, resembling some of the original morning suits. His jacket goes down in a tail below his waist and is the same color black as the pants and shoes. Under the jacket, he wears a white vest, and then a yellow ascot tied around his neck, coming over onto the vest. In the pocket of the suit, he carries a golden watch on a chain. At times he wears a black felt top hat and white gloves on his hands.

*Alternate form appearance: His alternate form is constantly changing, rather than being anything specific, it is more of an amorphous collection of features. A mysterious black viscous liquid will make up his entire form, which will be more of a changing puddle. The fluid is covered in several eyes, hands, and tortured faces, all made of the fluid. What truly happens with his alternate form is unknown.

History:
Libitinarius was never truly born, he seems to have always existed, but in a place outside of time as others know. The place where he existed was what many considered true hell, before a section of it had emerged to the world. From this world, he controlled and played with the mortals, influencing them and offering to them grand things. Never truly able to come to the world, he was able to influence, possess, or meet in trance/dreams the mortals.
Following the bridging of the two worlds together, Libitinarius continued to work as undertaker, bringing people to hell, and hearing their last pleas for life and striking deals with the mortals. Following the failure of the other leader, he bridged the gap from true hell to the over world to begin his rein.  Although he had always done his job even when in true hell, he found that while on the actual world, his reach on humans was even grander. With new control over the over world hell, he wanted control over all the lands, and began to manipulate and make deals with humans to gain lands. Despite the large increase in usable power on the mortals, he had the same drawback as before. In his true form he almost never leaves the lands of hell, and instead relies on lesser forms or possessions to leave the realm.

*Extra: He never refuses an offer, deal, or bet. He absolutely hates to lose his deals, and will hold almost infinite revenge against people who beat him. After making a deal, he seems to be bound to follow it assuming the other party wins, but of course the deals can be very tricky.

Abilities: The ability to possess mortal bodies/hosts, enacting deals or bets he has made, control over the fallen souls of hell. He can also find his way into the dreams of people he is attempting to make deals with, but cannot control the dream.

Weapons: Book of deals, pocket watch

Magic: Dark demon magic, mostly forming itself in illusions, telekinetic like powers, and some necromancy. His "weapons" also possess powers. His book is a binding contract powered by the millions of souls giving hell its power, anything written and agreed to is almost unbreakable. The pocket watch is reminder of sorts, allowing him to see when someone's time on a deal has run up. It also can "pause" time for a deal, or for checking in on a deal. The pause of time may not truly be a pause, perhaps just happening in a moment in the subject's perspective.

Weaknesses: It is extremely difficult for him to leave from hell in his true form or at full power, and because of this he relies on lesser forms and possession. Holy magic and or demon affecting magic holds a stronger power against him as well as his true name and other normal demon weaknesses.

Other: A strange black, viscous fluid seems to leak from him when injured. The liquid sticks like tar, and seems to be corrosive through magic or demonic properties. He can never truly be destroyed with hell existing on earth, but bound and banished back to hell.
